Most software vendors have never stood on a shop floor. We grew up on one.

Gaurav Engineering belongs to a family of industrial firms that has supplied Indian industry since the 1970s: lamps, quartz, and components for water treatment, printing, laboratories, and airports. We know what a plant looks like on a Tuesday afternoon, and we know what good software looks like. The work is joining the two.

    Payments infrastructure, patented

    A payments system that lets one invoice be settled with several payment methods and refunded the same way, for a healthcare platform. Granted U.S. Patent 11,675,486 in 2023.

    Fraud detection for a payments platform

    Transaction alerting that spots fraudulent activity and prevents unauthorised payment processing.

    Subscription billing at scale

    More than 10,000 patients moved onto a rebuilt subscription system, then a redesign: flexible plans, pricing phases, templates, and a timeline of each subscription's life.

Who we are

The firm

Gaurav Engineering Private Limited is a family-owned company in Mumbai, incorporated in 1973. For most of its life it represented foreign manufacturers in India and cut and ground quartz tubes for industry. It now builds software and AI for industrial businesses, in India and abroad.

Leadership

Gaurav Jhaveri leads the firm. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science (Machine Learning) and spent eight years building production software for US product companies.
